Please call a head and reserve your spot on the tour and your growler. This helps us keep ahead of the demand on our limited growler and beer supply.

Here is the skinny on our new deal from groupon just in case the deal itself wasn't clear enough! The deal is for 2 pint glasses, 2 tours, 2 samplings, a free growler deposit, and with the groupon the first round is on us. ALSO! For every 200 groupons sold we are going to be raffling off a homebrew kit from American Brewmaster. The drawing will be held on June 11th at our 1-Year Anniversary party, WOOO! You must redeem your groupon before this day to be entered in the drawing as we don't get any information about you from the groupon website and would thusly be unable to draw your name! We are beginning to run tours at certain times during our taproom hours but we have not decided on the set times yet. I will post updates as we decide. Buy a few for your friends!

Sup gurl! We are releasing our as-of-yet unnamed Dunkel (5.5% ABV) and our new Hopbligatory Session IPA (3.9% ABV 95 IBUs) this Saturday, April 23rd! Grillworks Express will be catering again and it is cornhole weather again, wooo! This event is up on Meetup and on Facebook and should show a great turnout. I, personally, can't wait to get the dunkel on tap as it is quickly becoming my favorite beer. Also, I can't wait to tap that fresh batch of IPA as we have been working on the first batch now for a while and I love me some fresh crisp hops. I hope its a hot day cause there is nothing better than crushing a crisp session beer!
We are holding a competition to name the dunkel and there will be beer/bar tap prizes for the one that picks out the best name. So far "Sex Viking" is the most awesome name we have heard. Got a better name? Come on out on Saturday and let us know about it!
Cheers forever!

We made it out to the Hickory Hops beer festival this last weekend! Thanks for everyone who came and showed all the breweries their support. Big ups out to Bobby Bush and the City of Hickory and all the guys over at Olde Hickory Brewery for hooking us up with everything. Super-Congrats to all the guys who medaled! The weather sucked real hard early on in the day on Saturday but then Thor let up on us and things cleared right up by around 11am so. The festival was wonderful! The beer was pouring great and merch was selling fast! We sold out of helmets, glasses, and axes by around 6pm. We need to come up with another ridiculous merch item for next time. See y'all next year!
P.S. To whoever stole our giant wooden mallet; may you die a terrible horrible splinter related death. We really enjoyed breaking things with that and I don't think my life will ever be quite the same with out it. But also, we would like the thing back no questions asked. There will be beer and money as a reward.

What can I say that the N&O didn't say for us!
Sweet Write-up
We got some great coverage by that great publication and we are really appreciative of their support. The morning session was great, we burned through all our helmets in the first hour or so. Sorry to all the guys and gals at the second session not having a chance to rock out with a light up viking helmet. Next year baby, next year.

Behold! The gods of beer and everything awesome have given dark inspiration to the brewers at Roth Brewing Company. We present the fruit of this labor and divine insight: DARK CONSTRUCT STOUT. Weighing in at 7.1% ABV, this stout presents a thick mouthfeel chock full of chocolate, roasted barley, licorice and tons of burnt caramel aroma. Dark Construct will be added to the menu at $5 a pint and $15 / $11 growlers / refills.
The event is scheduled for Nov. 20th. The brewery will open at 5pm, the stout will be tapped at 7pm and we will again be having Grillworks Express catering brats and sausages. Also, live music starting at 9pm. Band is TBD.

ONE WING TO RULE THEM ALL!
Come out and enjoy wings from many local vendors for a low entry fee of $5. Pass judgment on who you believe deserves the title ' King of Wings'.
If you think yourself worthy, bring forth your own master forged wings of terror so that the vendors may cast their verdict upon them during the Amateur Wings competition. Amateur competitors will need to bring at least 30 wings
Current Vendors include Badawings and Woody's at City Market with MANY more to come!

Made it out to Triangle Brewing Company yesterday to hang out with Rick and Andy for a few hours. Those are great guys! They were quite hospitable and generous with their beers. I am having trouble remembering how I made it home! We also got out to Big Boss Brewing Co for their High Roller IPA release last night. Also great guys and great beer! Loved that IPA, if you guys see it on tap out there in the beer world, give it a shot. BTW, their Big Operator Raspberry Stout is one of my favs. Looking forward to seeing it around town. Maybe we can do a combo with our Forgotten Hollow Cinnamon Porter? Cinnamon and Raspberry? Sounds great to me!
Also, we have tentatively planned our opening for 6 weeks from now. Look out for a 4th of July Roth Brewing Company bash with our neighbors at Triad Trailer and AVEC mechanic shop.
Cheers y'all.

We will let everyone know when we have a solid date to begin the Grand Opening Week of our tiny little rebellion.
Bonus! We have been invited to sit on the final judging table at the World Home Brew Festival on May 15th! Eric will be hanging out drinking excellent beers with some excellent people. Do us proud man. The king is always watching!
